Maximum Number in Booking Party

 

For the enjoyment of all guests, respect for our beach hut neighbours, and compliance with our beach hut hire licenses, there is a strict maximum of 8 people per booking. This includes all adults, children, and babies, both inside and outside the beach hut. This limit must not be exceeded. We reserve the right to terminate the booking if this number is exceeded.

 

At the Beach Hut

 

• Behaviour should be in keeping with a family-friendly environment, excessive noise or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

• Please respect the boundaries of the beach huts and avoid encroaching on neighbouring spaces.

• No loud music, music must not be audible outside of the beach hut.

• BBQs are strictly prohibited in or around the beach huts

• We reserve the right to terminate a booking if nuisance or damage occurs.

 

When Leaving the Beach Hut

 

We take great care in preparing and maintaining our beach huts and kindly ask that they are left in the same condition as found. Failure to do so may result in refusal of future bookings.

 

• Clean up – Wash and return any used crockery or utensils (cleaning products are provided). Remove all litter and food waste from the hut and surrounding area. Bin bags are provided for disposal.

• Sand management – Before leaving, please sweep out excess sand from the hut and rinse off buckets, spades, and other beach toys before storing them.

• Security – Ensure the gas is turned off, all locks are secured, the key is returned to the key safe, and the key safe combination is scrambled.

• Damage or breakages – Please report any damage or breakages at the end of your stay. While we can overlook minor accidents, significant damage may incur a charge for repairs. If an issue arises during your stay, please contact us so we can resolve it promptly.

Confirmation of Booking

 

• Full payment is required to confirm the booking. A booking is not considered confirmed until payment has been received.

• By making payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Cancellation & Booking Changes

 

• Free cancellation up to 7 full days before arrival.

• If cancelled within 7 days of arrival, a £40 per hire day admin fee will be deducted from any refund.

• No refund will be given if cancelled within 48 hours of the booking.

• Free booking amendments are available up to 7 days before arrival, subject to availability. No amendments can be made within 7 days of the booking.

• Bad weather policy – Refunds or alternative dates will not be offered for poor weather. We appreciate your understanding that the weather is beyond our control.

• If we need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or credit will be offered.

 

Dogs

 

• Dogs are welcome (maximum of two per hut).

• Dogs must be supervised at all times and must not cause a disturbance to other beachgoers.

 

Liability

 

• The Coastal Escape accepts no liability for loss, damage, sickness, or injury sustained during your time at the beach hut, to any member of your party or invited guests.

Other Important Information

 

• Lost property – We can return lost items, but postage costs are the guest’s responsibility.

• Lost keys – A charge of £50 will apply for lost keys.

• Booking responsibility – The person making the booking is responsible for the beach hut and must be over 18 years old. The booking cannot be transferred to another person.

• Arrival & Departure – Beach huts are available from 8:00 AM and must be vacated by 9:00 PM on the last day of hire.

• Sleeping in the beach hut is not permitted.

• Smoking is prohibited.

• Candles are not allowed in or around the beach hut.
